Jeremiah 46:9-11

9 Go up, you horses, and [a](A)drive madly, you chariots,
That the mighty men may [b]march forward:
Ethiopia and [c](B)Put, that handle the shield,
And the [d](C)Lydians, that handle and bend the bow.
10 For (D)that day belongs to the Lord [e]God of hosts,
A day of (E)vengeance, so as to avenge Himself on His foes;
And the (F)sword will devour and be satiated
And [f]drink its fill of their blood;
For there will be a (G)slaughter for the Lord [g]God of hosts,
In the land of the north by the river Euphrates.
11 Go (H)up to Gilead and obtain balm,
(I)O virgin daughter of Egypt!
In vain have you multiplied [h]remedies;
There is (J)no healing for you.
